Here at KISA we wish to help people living with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia. We have developed the KISA phone so that it is simple and intuitive enough to be used without a manual. Getting in touch with your loved ones is as simple as pressing one button. Mechanical contact buttons on the front can be customised with either a person's name or a photo; they can be in any language including Braille.
KISA phone has a long battery life so that it is not always necessary to remember to charge it. In addition, each KISA phone comes with a charging cradle which is very similar to the way any home phone operates and makes it very easy to charge.
KISA team have worked very hard to make the phone accessible to people with a wide range of cognitive problems and brain disorders. Another helpful feature of the KISA phone is that it's lightweight and can be worn with the provided lanyard so it is not misplaced.
You also have the option to customise the back of the phone with critical medical information, address details and emergency contacts for your peace of mind.
Finally, we have included built in protection to avoid bill shock if the user forgets to hang up. The phone will terminate non-emergency outgoing calls after 15 minutes. You can always call back and resume the conversation or have the other person call you back.
This very simple to use phone has been packed with wonderful features to help families stay in touch.
